The Terminator (Volume 1)

A great god reincarnated and descended.

Volcanic eruption leads to rampage of zombies.

The world is in ruins, and humanity has been extinguished.

Who will put an end to this and set things right?

As the apocalypse foretold by the ancient Mayans draws ever closer, evil descendants are rampaging across the world, wreaking havoc and causing widespread fear. The Secret Service, representing justice, officially declares war on evil. The battle lines are drawn, and all the secrets hidden in the darkness are gradually revealed, piecing together the truth of the impending doom!

An amnesiac boy who travels from Earth to another world is recognized by the other world as the reincarnation of the god "Quezacott." A guardian group led by Black Widow Alma and other elders, under the guise of helping the mysterious boy find his memories, enter the depths of his soul, but despite their best efforts, they cannot open the locked door to his memories and return empty-handed. Alone and helpless, the boy, with the help of his only trusted confidante, the saintess Saya, pushes open the door to his memories, witnessing how the merciful god "Quezacott" is banished by the evil "Tezkaziboka," and finally seeing the woman who has been haunting his dreams.

Driven by an intense sense of bond, the boy leads his companions from another world to Earth, ostensibly to unravel the mystery of the Great God in the Asian nation of Japan, but in reality, to search for the woman of their dreams. However, on this island nation with its strong sense of national identity, a series of unexpected events unfold—the dormant Mount Fuji erupts, leaving Tokyo in ruins and zombies roaming the land! The boy and Saya face numerous perilous situations, plunging them into despair… Is the boy truly the reincarnation of the Great God, capable of ending everything and restoring order?

Trial Reading

Hong Kong novelist Tang Xiwen

Bi Ming didn't lie to me; *Terminator Part 1* certainly doesn't have the ghostly characters of a horror movie, but it still lives up to its name of "terrifying." Every chapter kept me on the edge of my seat. The author's skill is truly profound; he can describe the scenes vividly and realistically with just words. When I was reading the manuscript closely, I reflexively squinted several times, just like when I see a tense moment in a movie and can't help but cover my face with my hands. This shows how thrilling the reading process was.

Beyond this virtual "visual effect," this novel offers two unexpected surprises. First, the so-called "thrill" isn't the essence of the story, but rather a reading experience. In fact, it combines elements of suspense, martial arts, mystery, romance, adventure, fantasy, and history to tell the story, satisfying multiple desires simultaneously—perfect for a greedy reader like myself. As you read, sometimes you'll be so excited your nerves are on edge, occasionally feeling a touch of heartwarming romance, and the next moment your mind is filled with mysteries—it's a multi-layered enjoyment. Secondly, I've always been afraid of reading "series" novels because of the numerous characters, complex relationships, and intricate plots, which often leave me completely confused. However, "The Terminator," as the eighth installment of the Thriller Series, successfully captured my emotions, making me unable to put it down and keep reading! Even though I had never met the characters in the book, I felt an instant connection with them, quickly grasped the plot and rhythm, and became completely immersed in the atmosphere.

Bi Ming's novels have a cinematic feel, a unique fantasy world, and thrilling content, giving them a Resident Evil vibe. Of course, I think Bi Ming's novels are much better than Resident Evil!

Once you pick up a book and start reading, you won't be able to stop! Bi Ming's novels don't need any scary or sad background music, nor do they need any sudden frightening scenes, yet they can bring the audience all kinds of joy, anger, sorrow, and even a racing heart.

Every time a story ends, I wonder when there will be a sequel? The authenticity of the stories and the depth of the emotions make me love Bi Ming's thrillers one after another!
